Exhibit At Taste Port Douglas
With an all-star line-up of Australian chefs, Taste Port Douglas Food & Drink Festival returns for its sixth series, to deliver a smorgasbord of culinary masterclasses, signature dinners and unique dining experiences across the idyllic far North Queensland resort destination between the 11th -14th August.
Over four delicious days, Australia's leading chefs will showcase the best of the region's tropical produce across the town, joining forces with local producers and restaurants to dish out a curated culinary program set to excite the palate and tempt food enthusiasts looking for a tasty escape this winter.
The complete program and extensive chef line up to be announced next month, with talent to include past festival favourites along with exciting new additions. Pre-registration to exciting sell out events has already become available to mailing list subscribers.
Allowing visitors to feast on a diverse range of cuisines to satisfy any budget, more than twenty main food and drink focussed events will be spread across the weekend. With Four Mile Beach providing an idyllic festival backdrop, a mix of large and more intimate celebrations will be held, including the highly-anticipated long sea-side luncheon, a fired-up BBQ feast and a dynamic series of chef take-overs will play out at participating local favourite haunts throughout Port Douglas as well as an exciting music and entertainment program.
Sheraton Festival Village - the heart of Taste Port Douglas – once again comes to life when we celebrate Port Douglas’s rich culinary culture and lifestyle.
Against an enviable backdrop of Four Mile Beach to one side and resort lagoons on the other, guests will enjoy a day of live cooking demonstrations from some of Australian’s most treasured chefs and culinary presenters, food and wine stalls, masterclasses, junior foodies activities, industry talks, pop- up bars, live music and many more activities.
Taste Port Douglas is now inviting producers and artisan makers of food, beverage and related items from across regional Queensland to join the exhibitors line up at Festival Village on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 August.
