A guide to what junior foodies can expect at Taste Port Douglas

Taste Port Douglas isn't just for the bog kids, here's why.

Sheraton Festival Village runs from 12 noon to 5pm on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 August and we've made sure that there is a jam packed program each day to keep little ones entertained and well fed for a day of family friendly entertainment.  The best part, our program for kids is absolutely free!  Here is what's on...

1. Giant lawn games
Kick back on Four Mile Lawn with a cold drink and a delicious plate of food, palm trees swaying over head, live music playing in the background and some giant versions of your favourite weekend games like jenga, coyts, chess and more.

2. Yoga with Petra
Join a 30 minute class with our qualified stretch-ologist, Petra! These fun and easy to follow classes will be held on the festival lawns, no experience needed and all welcome!

3. Roving Reptiles by the Wildlife Habitat
The incredible team of animal experts from the Wildlife Habitat Port Douglas will show that it is ok to smile at a crocodile! Meet a freshwater croc and pet a python, you won't regret it!

4. Painting in Paradise with Stephanie Elizabeth Artist
Drop in for an expert led art class with a local watercolour expert.  All materials are provided, just bring along your creativity.

5. Cupcake Decorating
Show us your masterchef qualities with a sweet creation led by our very own baking experts.

6. Roving Performers
Facepainting, balloon twisting, rollerskating and hula fun.  Our interactive roving performers are around all weekend to add some sparkle to your festival experience.
