Junior Foodies Cupcake Decorating Masterclass
When: Sunday 13 August 2023, 11:30am - 12:30pm
Where: Feast Restaurant, Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort
Children will embark on a colourful journey as they learn the secrets of transforming plain cupcakes into works of edible art.
Each child will receive their own blank canvas in the form of a freshly baked cupcake just waiting to be transformed with an assortment of enticing toppings including sprinkles, miniature lollies, and more. Class includes expert instruction with a dedicated chef, a chefs hat, plain cupcakes and all decorations. Children can take their creations at the conclusions of the class.

Junior Foodies Dumpling Making Masterclass
When: Sunday 13 August 2023, 1pm - 2pm
Where: Feast Restaurant, Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort
In this hands-on class designed for children ages approx. 5-12 years, we will dive into the wonderful world of dumplings. Our experienced instructor will guide young chefs through the step-by-step process of creating mouth-watering dumplings with plenty of sampling along the way!
Class includes expert instruction with a dedicated chef, a chefs hat, opportunity to be hands on in filling dumplings and dumplings to eat.

Wolf Lane Distillery Masterclass

Join Wolf Lane Distillery from Cairns, Tropical North Queensland, for an immersive masterclass that will unlock the secrets of becoming a gin master.
Run by gin officianado and distillery co-founder, Sam Kennis, this hands-on experience will provide participants with valuable insights into the art of crafting exquisite cocktails.
During the interactive masterclass, guests will receive expert guidance on the essentials of cocktail perfection. The knowledgeable team at Wolf Lane will lead you through the process, sharing their expertise and techniques to ensure you gain a solid foundation in mixology. As part of the experience, you will have the opportunity to sample a selection of Wolf Lane Distillery gins allowing your taste buds to explore the unique flavours and nuances of each creation.
Guests will finish the class with an expertly made cocktail to enjoy under the palm trees of Festival Village.
Assemble at the Wolf Lane stall on the Barefoot Beach Bar at Sheraton Festival Village at 11am and be escorted to your classroom by the team.

Join esteemed sommelier, Samantha Payne and seafood industry expert, Rosie Love for a mouthwatering prawn and wine pairing masterclass
Prepare to be enlightened as you explore the nuances of three Australian prawn varietals, prepared in three unique ways, accompanied by a guided tasting of three exceptional Australian wines. Samantha and Rosie will guide you through the art of striking the perfect balance between flavors, to create unforgettable dining experiences everyday.

Revelations of Riesling

Chaffey Bros is brothers-in-law Daniel Chaffey Hartwig & Theo Engela: part perfumiers; part historians; and part mad scientists. They craft handmade wines from a number of epic low-yielding vineyards nestled among the pristine Barossa & Eden Valleys in South Australia.
During this masterclass, led by Daniel, you'll delve into the history, characteristics, and winemaking techniques specific to the Riesling grape. Daniel will guide you through a tasting of four of their exceptional wines: Not your Grandma’s Riesling, Funkelpunkt Riesling + Kerner, Dufte Punkt Riesling + Gewürztraminer + Kerner and their Triplepunkt Museum Release Riesling.
Throughout the masterclass, you'll have the opportunity to engage in discussion and Q&A with the Chaffey Bros. team.

Tolpuddle Vineyard Masterclass
When: Sunday 13 August 2023, 3.30pm – 4.30pm
Where: Culinary Classroom, Crystal Chapel, Sheraton Festival Village
Recognised as one of the most distinguished Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vineyards in Australia. Tolpuddle Vineyard is located in the Coal River Valley in Tasmania. Highly awarded; including recent accolades from Decanter with the 2021 Chardonnay winning White Wine of the Year and scoring 100 points by Nick Stock for The Wine Magazine. These wines are on an allocation basis and sell out each year. This is your opportunity to taste 3 vintages of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir straight from the cellars of Tolpuddle.
Taste the 2014, 2017 and 2021 vintages of Tolpuddle Vineyard Chardonnay and Pinot Noir with Penny Grant. You will be guided through the evolution of the vineyard from its inception to now.
