Join celebrity chef led teams in this nine-hole Ambrose competition presented by Survivor Golf at the Mirage Country Club.

The Taste Port Douglas Long Lunch presented by Jansz *LAST RELEASE*

Celebrate the magnificent outdoor lifestyle of Tropical North Queensland at the coveted Port Douglas Long Lunch.
This wonderful event will be staged under a canopy of Poinciana trees in Market Park, alongside St Mary's By The Sea, with ocean views to Dixons Inlet.
Popular Port Douglas restaurants, Salsa, La Cucina, Zinc & Harrisons, in collaboration with guest chefs Jerry Mai, Massimo Mele, Aaron Ward and Ben Williamson, will present a delectable three- course menu, accompanied by a three-hour beverage package of Jansz Tasmania Premium Cuvee and Yalumba wines from the heart of the Barossa.
Alastair McLeod will emcee the event, which will also feature entertainment by ARIA award winning Kiki Courtidis. (NB: In the case of inclement weather, this event will be moved to an indoor location).

Devils Thumb Distillery Mixing & Masterclass Experience

This Gin Masterclasses will set you on your very own gin journey. Be guided by the Devils Thumb Distillery experts through the origins of gin, how it has developed over the centuries and how their modern-day award-winning gins are made at the Distillery.
Participants are provided with the opportunity to craft your very own gin through an extensive blending class using a broad range of vapour infused botanicals. And even better - you get to take a 200ML bottle of your very own creation home with you!
During the class you will discover many of the botanicals that are used in gin production and the distinct techniques that the Devils Thumb distillers use to extract the wonderful aromas and flavours on offer.

Café del Mar Sunset Session by Taste Port Douglas

Cafe del Mar brings its iconic Ibiza sunset brand to Taste Port Douglas 2022 for a night of trademark house music under the stars.
Join us for a world class performance by Café del Mar Sydney DJ Jusjoe as he delivers a night of the classiest house music sounds from deep to soulful, indie cool and nu-disco. A regular performer at the Café del Mar Sydney Sunset Sessions, Jusjoe creates an unmistakeable vibe that leaves a crowd wanting more.
Fire twirling and LED shows by live performers make for one unforgettable experience from sunset, throughout the night.
Guests will enjoy one welcome drink on arrival followed by an all-inclusive three-hour food package of roving snacks and delicious walk-up food stations (see menu below). Additional drinks will be available to purchase from pop-up bars by local and Queensland distillers and brewers as well as the Taste Port Douglas bar stocked with our favourite wines and more.

This is a cashless event with pop up bars accepting payment via your personal tap-and-pay Taste Port Douglas wristband. Wristbands are issued upon registering your ticket at the front gates. Arrive ready to snack and sip your way through the day by pre-purchasing your festival pass and pre-loading it with festival credit. Wristband top-up stations are available throughout the event, and all unused credit can be re-claimed for up to 30 days after the event.

Catchers and Growers: The Ultimate Seafood Feast

Catchers and Growers returns in 2022 and seafood lovers are delighted!
Guests will enjoy a menu by esteemed seafood producers from Australia and New Zealand. Hosted by industry expert Umar Nguyen, guests will have front row seats to live food stations, while brand representatives shine a light on Australia’s seafood quality and diversity.
Settle in with snacks and a drink on arrival, enjoy discussions from participating catchers and growers, and then roam the seafood marketplace while indulging in an unlimited feast accompanied by a 2.5-hour premium wine package.

Day Two of the Sheraton Festival Village will see our Gourmet Lawn food stalls change identity as the team from Taste Port Douglas bring you FAT MANGO, a BBQ festival like no other where celebrity and live fire chefs bring their flame game to Tropical North Queensland.
Responsibly sourced local woods and charcoals will billow smoke and flames from bespoke barbeque apparatus that has been hand built by local craftspeople, Aussie Campfire Kitchens to cook sustainable meats, seafood and vegetables.
Local and Australian distillers, brewers and grape growers showcase their liquor, craft beers and wines in bars across the festival ground.
On stage live bands and DJs create the ultimate soundtrack whilst on the ground celebrity chef Colin Fassnidge and legendary butcher Anthony Puharich from Victor Churchill stoke conversations with BBQ masters. Follow Anthony and Colin through the stalls as they chat with chefs about their BBQ styles philosophies.
Access to this space is included in your General Admission ticket to Sheraton Festival Village. All food items can be purchased via cashless system, no free tastings.

Sheraton Festival Village Masterclass Series

Where: Daintree Bar, Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Port Douglas
Learn from industry experts in this two day, hands-on series of informative and fun masterclasses, which cover everything from cocktail making to chardonnay, champagne to caviar, and even how to blend your own cocktails.
Our culinary classroom is located just beyond the "Mixers, Makers and Growers" space in the Sheraton’s Daintree Bar.
Masterclasses will be held at scheduled times on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 August. Masterclasses must be booked in advance, no walk-ins.
